Dr. Adali Martinez is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Medicine at UCSF. In addition to her clinical role caring for patients with advanced pulmonary diseases and critically ill patients in the medical ICU at San Francisco General Hospital, Dr. Martinez is a physician-scientist whose research program focuses on understand and addressing the underlying causes of pulmonary health disparities. She has over a decade of experience caring for and leading advocacy efforts on behalf of immigrant populations. She currently serves as a member of the American Thoracic Society health policy committee and is a health policy California Leadership Fellow for the National Hispanic Health Foundation.
