Our goal is to increase the number of Latinx physicians, as well as physicians from other under-represented minority (URM) communities through programs that support students and physicians at every stage of their careers. We also aim to serve the Bay Area’s Latinx and other URM communities through direct outreach, advocacy and policy initiatives.
Get Involved: Be a Mentor
UCSF faculty and alumni are valued mentors for our current residents, medical and pre-medical students. Share your experience and perspective with our next generation of care providers.
Current medical students are also excellent sources of information for our undergraduate Aspiring Physician Program (APP) scholars. Participate on a panel, collaborate on a presentation, or share study resources. Our APP scholars look forward to meeting you!
Please contact Connie Calderon-Jensen at [email protected] and remember to sign up for UCSF Connect.
Donate
Please consider giving to the UCSF Latinx Center of Excellence (LCOE). Your donation directly supports our initiatives that provide resources, healthcare and the critical research that improves the health of our most vulnerable communities.
Our LCOE faculty and staff are passionate about our work, research and mentoring the next generation of Latinx physicians, healthcare professionals and faculty.
Thank you for your support.
