Alicia Fernandez, MD, Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine at ZSFG received the Distinguished Professor of Health Equity Award and was announced as the newest member of the Board of Directors by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). She is on an NPR Interview discussing what it will take for the COVID-19 vaccination effort to be racially equitable. She also wrote a paper about how to get more Latinx folks vaccinated.
